Gemstones from MOREGOLA are sourced in strict compliance with ethical guidelines and the Kimberley Process. We place the utmost importance on ensuring that the origin of our jewelry is conflict-free and ethically sound.
Most of our diamonds over 0.30 carats come with a GIA certificate.
Other significant gemstones are accompanied by certificates from leading independent institutes in the industry (e.g. GRS and IGI), or our GIA-certified gemologists provide a MOREGOLA certificate for all jewelry and gemstones.
A GIA certificate is provided by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), the world’s foremost independent authority on diamond grading. It details the quality and specific characteristics of a gemstone following comprehensive analysis and assessment. If your selected diamond includes a GIA certificate, it will be included with your purchase in physical form. Furthermore, most diamonds are laser-engraved with their unique GIA certificate number.

Everyday Care
Between professional cleanings, MOREGOLA suggests the occasional use of a non-abrasive cleaner for diamond jewelry. A gentle solution of six parts water to one part mild soap can be applied with a soft-bristled brush (such as a toothbrush). Jewelry with gemstones other than diamonds may require different care. Be sure to follow any specific instructions and warnings for those stones. For delicate gemstones, use a soft brush and a solution of mild dish soap and lukewarm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean, soft cloth.
Certain precautions should be taken with all jewelry, though some gemstones require special care as outlined in this section. Protect your jewelry from impacts against hard surfaces and avoid contact with rough textures. Even a diamond can chip if struck with sufficient force or at the right angle. Many gemstones, such as amethyst, emerald, kunzite, opal, pearl, peridot, tanzanite, and tourmaline, are highly delicate and prone to scratching. Gemstones can scratch one another or cause wear on precious metals. To prevent such damage, avoid stacking rings and bracelets that are susceptible to these kinds of abrasions.
